Sidhe Ruadh’s exact past is a mystery, and she intends to keep it that way. But those intent on finding out would discover she had a significantly younger sister that she cared for after their parents passed -- Caitlin. Had, because when Sidhe was 16, slavers for the wet-towns of some lawless, scum-ridden planet kidnapped her eight year old sister-kit. If you know this much about her, then it is also known that revenge spurred Sidhe’s first job as a spy and saboteur: Five years she tracked the slavers that kidnapped Caitlin, through their exploits and bad information. Finding them, she managed to get aboard their ship before it set into space on their latest heist. Luckily for the vixen, the slavers were a small ring, greedy enough to have already stepped on someone larger’s toes. No one came looking for her when the slaver’s ‘shipment’ never came in. The ship was found adrift, with its electrical system and life support sufficiently fragged -- Minus an escape pod. Now ten years later, whether Caitlin lives or not is a question still unanswered. Sidhe has all but given up on finding Caitlin; the breed of slave the kit undoubtedly became is notorious for the death rate, abuse and disease. Still, for a bit of good information on where her sister’s trail may lead, she will sometimes overlook her usual ‘fee’. It’s important to remember that no one knows these stories about Sidhe Ruadh unless she tells them to you herself, or you have paid an ample fee to someone who knows themselves. Sidhe never divulges her resume, unless you have enough to make her telling you her sources worthwhile. Her techniques have refined some and become more timely since the slavers, by virtue of finding espionage and sabotage to be a decidedly more lucrative business than vengeance. Sidhe knows she is not the best: This realization is what has kept her alive, along with her fast reflexes and quick wits. To survive, she is always training and getting better.
